Meet the Cast:

throttle.png

Throttle is the leader. If you want to understand this character, think Clint Eastwood. Behind the sunglasses is a squint that can melt a mugger from a hundred yards away. With his intense. low voice, Throttle gives new meaning to 'speak softly and carry a big stick'. This is a character that thinks before he acts and uses his head as effectively as his fists. Throttle's dedication to duty is only exceeded by his loyalty to his two partners.

Like all great heroes, Throttle pays a price for his heroism. While he is off fighting to save the galaxy, he misses his home planet of Mars and hopes to someday return. And while he will never admit it, he misses a woman back on Mars, the leader of the Martian Freedom Fighters: "Carbine".

They have an interesting if slightly strange relationship. Throttle has never quite come to grips with the fact that Carbine is his superior officer in the ranks of the Martion Freedom Fighters. He also has trouble coming to grip with the fact that he has a huge crush on her. The feeling is mutual but rarely acknowledged between them.

vinnie.png

No fear and full of cheer. Simply put, Vinnie is a funny guy who got more than his fair share of the male macho gene. The more dangerous the motorcycle stunt, the better then fun. But it wasn't always fun and excitement for this character. Vinnie hides half of his face behind a titanium mask. One is left to wonder what scars would be revealed were the mask ever to be lifted. Many.

A few years ago during the battle to Liberate Mars from the evil Plutarkians, Vinnie had been the victim of some nasty mouse experimentation at the hands of his enemies. Had he not been rescued by Throttle at the last minute, Vinnie wouldn't be amongst the Biker Mice today. Vinnie doesn't forget. His loyalty to Throttle is beyond question. Through the pain, Vinnie learned that life is for living. There is no challenge this mouse won't stand up to, always ready to take on enemies of freedom. Think James Dean with a sense of humor.

modo.png

The gentle giant. Big...strong...and with more heart than any 10 men combined! A long time ago there was a character in a televison series called, "Bonanza". The character was "Hoss Cartwright." He was huge and could beat up a man with one hand tied behind his back. But he liked people and preferred not to fight if at all possible.

That's much like our Modo. But make no mistake ; if force is necessary, Modo can bring it. He too had been a victim of the Martian Wars of Liberation. Where Vinnie's face was disfigured (explaining the half mask), Modo lost an arm. But the replacement more than made up for his loss. Modo sports a bionic arm that comes equipped with all sorts of cool weapons with even cooler additions to come over the course of the series.

Modo is a mouse who would rather talk it out than fight it out. But, you don't won't to make him mad... because somebody's going to get hurt.

charley.png

The best wrench in Chicago, Charley is very possibly the best motorcycle mechanic anywhere. She's also the best friend a Biker Mice From Mars could ever hope to have.

Charley is the owner of the 'Last Chance Garage' that is until Ronaldo Rump blows it up to make way for his nex Rump Burger franchise location.

Nobody knows their way around a bike like Charley. She's a valuable addition to the team as she brings bravery, tech skill and imagination to the quest to find Stoker and save Mars from destruction at the paws of the Catatonians and Earth from the overdeveloped schemes of Ronaldo Rump.

stoker.png

Once the greatest general in the Martian Freedom Fighter Force, Stoker is an icon on the planet Mars. However, Stoker has been missing in action the past few years.

Some believe he is somewhere on Planet Earth. Others believe he sold out to the enemies of the Martian Mouse Freedom Forces. While you'll have to watch the series to learn the truth about Stoker, one thing is for sure - as creator of the Regenerator, the machine which provides life sustaining water on the now dry planet of Mars, finding Stoker will be critical to the survival of the Martians.

When the Martian Regenerator is destroyed by the evil Catatonians, it will be up to the Bike Mice From Mars to find Stoker if they are to acquire another life saving Regenerator.

carbine.png

A full star general and the commander of the Martian Freedom Fighters, Carbine is ultimately responsible for the future of planet Mars. It is for this reason that she turns to those to whom she has turned in the past - The Biker Mice From Mars!

While it will be the responsibility of The Biker Mice to take the fight to Earth, General Carbine will remain in charge of the freedom fight on Mars. Always in touch with the Biker Mice via a video communication device built into Modo's mechanical arm, Carbine is very much a part of the action in the battle to save both Earth and Mars.

nightshift.png

Nightshift. He's a mystery. While you will learn soon enough that he is the alter ego identity of another character in the series, we are left to wonder whether we will have seen the last of him by the end of episode two...

Or will he return? And if he returns, whose side will he be playing for?

hairball.png

Supreme Commander of the Catatonian invaders, Hannibal T. Hairball is, well, he's an idiot! Cursed with a little cat's inferiority complex and a propensity for gagging on hairballs, Supreme Commander Hairball is bent on turing every planet in our Solar System into a series of litter boxes capable of supporting the Catatonian lifestyle.

The problem is he doesn't have the ability to conquer his water dish without his number two, the evil Cataclysm - the true power behind the throne. With an endless supply of Claw Troopers at his disposal, he is none the less, a cat to be taken seriously.
____________________________

cataclysm.png

He's big, he's bad, he's evil. He's a walking Cataclysm!

Whilst officially the second in command to Supreme Commander Hairball, it is Cataclysm who is truly calling the shots in the Catatonian quest for the Regenerator. To make things still more complicated, we are never quite sure of his motives. Is he out to conquer the Galaxy for his own race or merely to line his own pockets?

Whatever his agenda, so long as the Biker Mice From Mars stand between him and what he wants, the battle between good and evil will continue to rage.

rump.png

Chicago's most famous land developer, Ronaldo Rump has turned the 'Windy City' into a massive Rump development. No sooner does he vaporize a building than a new one mysteriously appears. Be it a Rump Burger location, a Rump Cola distributor, a Rump Air Reservation Centre, or a Rump Chicken-on-a-Stick restaurant, Ronaldo Rump is The Man in the great city of Chicago.

How does he do it? Ah... Stay tuned.

For most, Chicago would be more than enough to satisfy ambition... But not for Ronaldo Rump. He won't rest until he's turned Mexico into a Rump Golf and Hotel Resort. He won't be satisfied until he's melted the Polar Ice Caps to make way for some prime beach front property. But if he is to succeed, he must first find a way to get past the Biker Mice From Mars.

And don't let the bad haircut fool you. If you get in Rump's way you might hear ... "You're fired!" Or worse...

These mangy felines are the 'muscle' behind the Catatonian invasion. They are well trained and obedient and appear to be in endless supply. They stand ready to execute any order given by Cataclysm and Supreme Commander Hairball.

Episode 1: The Adventure Begins, Part I

Synopsis: Mars is running out of water and soon the Martian Mice will perish. Their only hope is the magnificent Regenerator, a machine capable of converting dirt into any substance required, including water. But the evil Catatonians, led by that hairball spitting comedian of a cat, Supreme Commander Hairball, have launched an all out attack in the hopes of capturing the Regenerator for their own purposes. Will the Biker Mice From Mars be able to hold out against the Catatonian assault?

It's actually a reboot of a 1990s cartoon series of the same name. It starts where the previous series ended and even features the same voice actors.

Apparently, both series are pretty cheesy (no pun intended); however, the 1990s version has nostalgia on its side.

i loved Biker MICE from Mars...now they look like rats.
i think i am gonna dislike this UK version of them.
*watches youtube clip* umm...

youtube : BikerMice2006
they are just clips of the 2006 eps, not actual episodes.

Wow...I never watched the show back in the day. But I know of it. I recall them looking very crazy in the 90's. Now they look...very...furry...

I'm scared...

edit - So I just watched a clip off of youtube. Whatever I was thinking, was wrong. They always looked like that.

And that also reminds me, that chick, Charley looks like she has chops and a goatee. I know its suppose to be oil or dirt or something. But still. Funny.

The cartoon came out in 1993, so if you were BORN around that time, you probably never caught it.

I watched some this morning and while it's decent enough it doesn't have the tongue in cheek humor that the earlier one had.

Well, it wasn't bad or anything but it wasn't great either. I'm guessing that the show will get worse once the Biker Mice arrive on Earth. And lol at how they revealed Nightshift's secret identity in the first episode.

I was born in `87 and never saw it. And if I did I don't remember. But with a title like Biker Mice from Mars I don't know who would actually go out of their way to see it. ;)

For whatever reason, I think they just made Ronaldo Rump (who will appear in a few episodes) into the Limburger of this series. Both have similar looks, similar evil schemes, etc.

You know, looking at pictures of the old series, the original designs are almost exactly the same. I don't get how that issue was brought up.
