4GB iPhone: $299 from Apple, NEW

I was thinking about getting one for me and my wife. But holy fuck at the "family plan".

$109/month for two fucking phones?? Are you kidding me - I can get the same service for $49/month from T Mobile. Fuck AT&T.

I would of been OK even without the $100 refund... I accept that buying the latest technology is expensive. It's just how it works, and I think in the past 2+ months of owning an iPhone, I've gotten my extra money's worth. Still, I'm obviously very glad that Apple decided to do this good-will gesture.
 
you dont get a 100 dollar refund, they give you 100$ in credit at the apple store or whatever.

How did we get fucking owned? From the time I ordered my PC components until the time I got it built, I could have saved $150. It's technology. It sucks. Get the fuck over it or stop playing with it.

I fully intended on buying another large ipod at some point, so this is just nice
 
my point is that you guys bought a phone for WAY more than it was worth, and now Apple is slapping you guys in the face by dropping the price $200 and only giving people who paid $200 over what it is worth, $100 back.

that is not technology, that is called a company ripping it's customer's a new one for a few months, to have a good quarter.

im not saying the phone isn't cool, but seriously, it's not worth that amount of money. EVEN with the price drop.
