40k what would yu buy?

If you had 40k (35k US ) what would yu buy? bare in mind you could buy a modern bike and loose 10k over 4 years or you could buy a collectable classic and make 10k over 5 years.
so guys and gals what would yu do ??

here is 6 examples of bikes yu can get for 40k
 
For me:
1) 900ss
2) Hailwood
3) 851
4) 999s (because I don't have a xx9 bike yet and I wouldn't feel guilty riding it)
5) 996 Senna (I like it, but not as much as the others)
6) 1098s (I already have one and in this company, dime a dozen)

I don't buy bikes as investments. I buy to ride.
 
On the buzz kill part I'd spend ten grand so I could have drinking water, another five to finish the addition on my garage, five on landscaping and house renovations, five to finish my convertible and the rest to utilize all of the above with some socializing and manwhoring.

Bike wise, a used Bimota (probably a Tesi), a 916 with the gold rims OR a 998 Matrix, and a 06 1000 SS with a bunch of bling.

Oh yeah, a beaten Jap 600 with a cage to improve my low speed skills.
 
Butt...

If you bought a new, modern bike, you will probably ride it around and put on a mile or ten for every dollar it depreciates. If you bought a perfect classic with the intention of it appreciating, you'd probably be very hesitant to ride it around and risk damage.

I bought a 1098R for $35000.00 total and intend to ride it.
