$400 data charge

Go through your paperwork and try and speak with the person you signed up with. And then try and speak to a manager at Nextel and explain what happened. At all costs, stay calm...

Let us know what happens...

what were you doing, connecting to the internet on your computer?
Did you have like the unlimited data soc, or something else? also were your charges in overages? If you just use it to connect to the internet, depending on what soc you had, you are paying for each kilobyte of info, and also using your minutes.

yes, I'm sorry...I tried to post the other day and got bumped off...
They waived the $351 data overage and put me on an new plan.

I'm glad to hear that! I was following your thread to see what happened. Every time I've had a problem with Sprint they've done a pretty good job of fixing the situation... so far. Now, sometimes I've had to talk to more than one person to get a problem fixed, but perseverance and remaining calm as much as possible during the calls paid off. Did you get unlimited data added to your plan? I don't know what I'd do without it... I use my browser and picture mail all the time.

I too have had great sucess with Nextel, had a great overage when my son took his off standby
(went roaming for two weeks accidentally)
I think I now have sprint...
I think I got unlimited data for 2 months free, If I dont like, I can drop it.
to me when I used it last month, it was slower than dial up. the rep said to upgrade my browser.
