i want to ask does anybody else...im married with 2 teenage boys,my job is in management and selecting individuals for roles within the company.. .my staff fall in to 2 types, family type and late 30 early 40 singletons who don't seem to fit in..although the singles get results, i find they over react to criticism and seem to think there efforts outweigh others.. any comments about family life to these people sees them squirming with embarrassment. i currently have 2 guys competing for the same role ..one with a family and one a single 40 something who is so driven he takes work home with him to get ahead of his competition. are we family types becoming the minority ? it must be awkward to be single in mid life, your either a bunny boiler or a loner who nobody wants over for xmas...why choose to live this way ?
40 somethings single and no kids i find them weird, paranoid, self obssessed?
