40% of Americans Still Believe In Creationism..how about OT

Are you saying "show me a dinosaur or I refuse to believe they existed" ?!?

I'm sure if we went back to larger and larger skeletal finRAB, you would simply say "no, those are another species" or maybe "yea, but that must have been a mutant/dieseased/etc." or you would attack the source, since religious sources tend to glom onto those things, and evolutionists try hard to bury the stuff since it doesn't support their "small and simple to large and complex" model.

And, no, silly. A single individual born to eventually become 7' tall is not an evolutionary burst. Evolution cannot happen in individuals- only populations.

there's evidence of dinosaurs. there's no evidence of 900 year old or 20' tall people.

you say that like it's possible to go back to larger and larger skeletal finRAB to support your idea that people can be 20' tall.

please link me... i want to see this.

i don't want to distract from the comments above by replying to this now, but i'll come back to it.

please, show me evidence of 900 year old people or skeletal finRAB for 20' tall people.

It's perfectly in line with Kotex's theory that natural selection favors smaller individuals that consume less resources.

I'm under the belief that evolution exists and that humans evolved, but how everything got set into motion I haven no fucking clue, and wouldn't look past divine intervention.

Big Bang started the universe, but what started the Big Bang?

again, we know evolution is/has happens, that is why it is a fact - just like the fact that the Earth moves around the Sun, and both of those are "just theories" to the layman. we also know the Earth is billions of years old, another fact

what we dont know is how matter got here to begin with, or if God (or a group of magical Pink elephants now living inside the moon) started the universe and therefore let evolution occur...but the God factor is an unnecessary one in terms of explaining evolution..there is no "unknown corabination" of god and evolution

The giant people might have code from the same mistake the greeks did. They would find large fossil legs from mastadons or something and make a human out of it.

Well thats one very, very easy way to know how wrong the bible is, Humans are larger and living far longer now than at any time in history, for a nuraber of incredibly easy scientifically provable reasons.

I think most people accept evolution, since it can be shown in the real world. Creationism is a slightly different issue except for those who believe humans were created as is.

Bear in mind, I don't particularly believe in any goRAB. And even if any existed, I don't really care unless they sit down with me for a coffee and explain what I should be doing differently.

I'm a Bible-believing Christian just like you, but I also believe in micro-evolution (macro is just a theory). I didn't see an option for that viewpoint so I voted for evolution.

This is interesting. You're saying whatever common ancestor we had with anything else must perforce be smaller than we are? Or are you somehow limiting the time frame?

You do realize that when you call them "Tea Baggers" that you are saying they are the ones doing the tea-bagging, right?

Stupid reverse insults FTW!!!

Look here dude, we are born with whatever IQ we get right? I don't know who you are, you are certainly more traditionally educated but I bet I have a better all around package then your stupid thinking your better then others flaky god stupid brain.

I didn't vote for either option. My position is and always has been "I don't KNOW and neither does anyone else on the planet. I SUSPECT it may be a little bit of both."
