40% of Americans Still Believe In Creationism..how about OT

And if you restrict the demographic to under 30 years of age it is closer to 27%

Religion is falling, it will happen fast in the coming few decades. I live in the north east, which is largely secular to begin with, and I've seen churches closing left and right... hell the catholic church that I went to with my friend and his family as a child is gone, and I literally watched the attendance decline throughout my childhood (as I would have to go with them whenever I spent saturday night at his place)

I don't believe, but at the same time I can't say with any authority one way or the other. Evolutionary theory isn't perfect either and it is hard to speculate about how the universe came into existence without pondering some all mighty being.

That is an interesting question... It seems to me that once you open your eyes you can't just close them again... but I've been surprised by humanity before (constantly, actually)

The people who live over 100 and grow to 7' tall ARE the bursts of extreme change.

You're claiming people made it 800% / 200% over those respectively. Show me anyone who's made it 30% over either of those and I'll be shocked.

For the 25th% who do believe. Do you really believe there is some trick thing going on? HundreRAB of millions of years went on then the devil struck all the happy shit down. The devil is next to god with power? Really, really you think your short stupid life now matters in the grand scheme of things?

Well, the problem is, you are talking about two separate issues really ... just like how I pointed out your logical flaw about 40%.

Creationism isn't really the opposite of Evolution, it is more the opposite (but can still actually work in conjunction with), "The Big Bang".

Since you have made so many other logical flaws in your assertion as to what created the universe (God vs ... well, everything naturally appeared out of nothing) and "Did man evolve at all or was he always like what he is today" ... I stand pat with my "We don't know" position. The fact is, we don't "know" what corabinations. Scientists have some pretty good theories, but since they aren't "fact", the idea of "knowing" isn't really something that I would say is possible. Further, none of the religious creation stories truly "know" ... they "believe".

Really think about the implication of what you're saying...the bible says approx 10,000 years ago people lived 900 years and were 20' tall.

That's some significant change to what we see today
