The hurricane Gustav evacuation provided some very interesting fodder. Apparently a shocking # of evacuees decided to wait for the federal government to step in and fly or bus them out. However, this time many of the evacuees thought it was a good idea to refuse to get on the bus without FEMA providing a debit card like Red Cross sponsored card in Katrina. Eventually the people demanding a free debit card refused evacuation and stayed home.

Some dude tried to hit on my lady at the grocery store last night. Too bad he was buying his shit with food stamps, she may have let him hit.

When they take my tax dollars and give them to someone "less fortunate," then yes, they shouldn't be living in a place that makes them more fortunate than me

ideally yes

otherwise you know all these entitled pieces of shit would go ballistic if anyone dared touch their benefits

Where are these kids going now that Cabrini is finally going down?

I'd imagine spread whereever, if that's good or bad

You don't suppose that's because this country is predominantly white, do you?

Look at the proportions compared to the population, and there's your answer.

depends on the non profit. sometimes non profit is just as bad, they try and use up every bit of funding they're given so they don't lose it next go around.

$3,000 billion and counting for wars in the middle east = fuck yeah

$73 billion for food for Americans = oh no you didn't

I forgot all about Gustav.

I'm just worried about another Ike. Evac will be a little easier now, though.
