40 1/2 weeks pregnant can i have sex ?

well i stop having sex monthsss ago because it just hurted me. sometimes i feel like having sex but im scare it might hurt more at this point of my pregnancy. do i have a BIG CHANCE of inducing labor ? and does it induce it right away ?
