Haven't seen it or read much about it but did see a review that said Clark was single handedly holding up the British film world, or at least that gritty/crime/drame type genre of films.
I think Noel Clarke is producing some really good stuff and sooner or later will get a big film from Hollywood. I'm not sure he iis single handedly holding up the British film world but he is one of the main leaders in it. I think Guy Ritchie was supposed to be the leader but he has made some bad films since lock stock. He seriously needed Sherlock Holmes to save his career IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if things get better for him now he's ditched Madge as his wife and cna concentrate on films again and not babysitting the latest imported kid.
I think Noel makes films that retain a Britishness but are accessible to other countries expecially the US. Around the world the UK is best known or period costume films and rom-coms. His are contemporary and aren't like an Ken Loach film which some people really struggle with.
i really enjoyed this... cool clever sexy and a great cinematic popcorn ride......... just enkoy it for what it is and do not pick flaws in well worth seeing
Hannah;40775450']I saw this movie today, it was alright but nothing brilliant..
I didn't think there was much of a storyline, just the girls events through, and then the ending was a bit of a bore. However I did like the idea of showing each girl's lives and how they all piece together, but thought it was a big anticipation for nothing really, there was no climax or anything.. nothing to build up to..
I wouldn't watch it again and I won't be buying the DVD.
