3years back pain,unknown caused

Hi all,i have a friend who has a back pain since 3 years ago.recently she had take a xray test and didn't show any difference in the test.Doctor failed to tell the caused of back pain.who can tell me what should do or what kind of body check she should try to make clear her pain source.Thanks a lot...Please help me ..i do need your help right now.=)
 
tell your friend he/she neeRAB to have an mri scan. the mri will show bones, tissue, discs, nerves ect and should show exactly whats wrong. sean
 
If the doctor(s) have ruled out the back problem from a muscular problem then I agree she neeRAB an MRI that shows a much better view of the bone as well as soft tissues than you can get from a simple x-ray. She may need a referral to a doctor that deals with spinal issues instead of seeing a regular doctor.
