I'm referring to me for example with a blackberry curve which isnt 3G compatible. Will I see a difference with EDGE? Will I still be able to benefit from 3G via a software upgrade maybe?
Yeah unfortunately you will need to have a 3G device to use any of that part of the network. You may however see some improvement in your GPRS due to less network traffic. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
to have the 3G service ur device must have 3G already built in. U can not upgrade (not even with a software update). I want/wanted/want a Bold so bad but after reading about everyone that uses 3G devices, they say that 3G sucks up their battery life...
So now I'm debating if I should get it or not. Us with AT&T still have time to decide.
What version if the international?
8310? 20? 30? Or just 00? And how much does it cost? Are there any plans to have other blackberry 3G or will that be it?
That is simply not true.3g is a hardware option so unless the phone has 3g built in from day one then you cant have it.I live in uk and i dont believe there is any 3g berries Until ofcourse the bold arrives
