Hi All

We have our 3D glasses from Bolt. I'm assuming its the same technology for Monsters and Aliens therefore our glasses should be good for that too.

Anyone know if Cineworld still charge the extra for the 3D films even if you have the glasses?

Thanks

No they wont. If they try to make you pay just say 'no darling, i already have glasses here and if you dont get out of my face im gonna walk into the main foyer and cause a f******* riot in this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Ok you dont need to be that extreme, but if your gonna go you might aswell go in a blaze of glory.

To make customers pay extra for 3D films is so wrong!

They didn't have to pay when 3D films first come out, why now?

My mate didn't have to pay extra for 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' when Cineworld was showing this film in 3D last year!

During his slot with Simon Mayo on Fridays, Mark Kermode always bemoans at this stupid policy.

Customers should walk out of the exit door when asked to pay more for these films!

Thanks everyone I had a feeling that would be the case. The Cheltenham Cineworld is only showing the 3D version I believe but Gloucester is showing both so we do have an option.

After paying extra for Beowulf, Journey AND Bolt. We finally kept the glasses handy for this one and the others that are coming this year. Although there is only three of us it all adRAB up to almost the cost of another ticket!

To continue charging for this technology well over a year since they installed it is a bit much.

We had to give the glasses back after Monsters vs Aliens. They were handing them out with "glasses wipes" (AKA wet wipes) for you to wipe previous users fingerprints off!

Somebody on here that goes to the same 2 cinema's as me! Have you noticed that since the credit crunch the extension in GLoucester has gone quiet? God knows we need it to happen as it is a dump!

Well we finally got to see the film today which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

No discount or anything for taking your own glasses, chap said it was pre entered on the till for the additional fee. So for the three of us (2 adults/1 child)
