3D films + Orange Wednesday = total rip-off?

Your cinema must only have 1 screen then. I know when I last went to my local Vue, there were 3 or 4 films 3D with around 6 showings a day.

As to your complaint about surcharges, I don't think its very fair to charge customers the same price for the 3D version as the 2D version (although of course I would prefer it to be far cheaper!).
 
I have no problem with these Premier seats. We buy them when we go and see a new movie in the evenings, it means our seats are already sorted, we dont have to have the hassel of getting into the screen early to get decently positioned seats before everyone else gets in, we can get ice cream at a time which means we can see soem of the movie before its all melted, as opposed to having to eat it before the show starts, and all it costs is a couple of pounRAB extra which am perfectly willing to pay. It improves my cinema going experience hugely.
 
It's Shepherd's Bush Vue - I presume you mean it has 3D in only one screen as it has twelve screens. I believe that Vue are moving into the cinema premises at Westfield which is two minutes walk from the current cinema, so maybe they don't want to invest any more in the existing facilities. They don't have premium seating, for example.

At the moment there's no real customer benefit in 3D versions of films, well, not at my local Vue anyway because the screenings are at such odd times. So If I want to see a film in 3D I have to make more of an effort to get to the cinema at the right time and it costs me more. So far I haven't been bothered enough to make the effort and pay the extra, so I don't think charging a premium is the right way to attract more customers to 3D films.
 
Vue claim they're going to keep both the existing site and the new Westfield site open in Shepherd's Bush! We shall see. But yes only one screen at the existing cinema is kitted out with digital and 3D.
 
They're a complete rip-off! Pay to see the film and then pay again if you want a good seat. A ridiculous practice designed to extort as much money from the customer as possible.
