I went to a dealership today and they said that they wanted $3800 for a kawasaki 250R. Its a 2010 model with a thousand miles on it and a scratch on the top of the tank. Is that a decent price for that bike? I know it is an incredibly talked about bike, and its never in stock so I wasnt sure if It was overpriced or not.

Give me the directions to your local dealership and I'll buy it for myself if you're not interested.

That seems fairly reasonable. It's barely past the break-in period and the model is a 2010.

But if you want to get a better price, remind them that they're selling a damaged motorbike and offer them $3,200 for it. If that doesn't work offer $3,400. And then offer $3,500 as your final offer. If that doesn't work, leave the dealership and wait a few days. Come back in a few days and remind them you'll buy it from them $3,500. While $3,800 is a fair price, you may be able to save a few bucks if you try.
