37 weeks and want to go camping?

so i will be 37 weeks this weekend and i want to go camping with the friends. I figure knowing where a hospital is and all that should be fine. But now the worry is goin out on the pontoon boat. Is it ok to go out on the boat and go camping?
 
This is a good question for your OB/GYN. Your doctor knows your medical history and will be able to give you a better answer. I personally wouldn't chance it. I just had my baby 11 days ago, and I was 37 weeks and 2 days.
 
i dont think its a good idea at all to go camping they say your not suppose to do stuff like that or travel just in case something happens you should stay clothes to home well i think you should anyway
 
No you might go in labor and if your on the boat what u going to do? DONT GO FOR THE SAKE OF THE BABY
 
I went camping at like 33 weeks I think.
Everything went fine.
I mean, everyone is different, so please take that into consideration when I answer.
I was perfectly fine. I had a great time.
We weren't like in tents, we were in little buildings, and I even went on the four wheeler on a gentle ride.
I don't suggest a four wheeler ride for you though, just in case.
But I think you could call your doctor and see if she thinks you are healthy enough to go. : )

I am a total outdoor enthusiast. I love camping and fishing and boating. I know how you are feeling!

However, if I were 37 week, I can't say that I personally would do all of the above. Maybe if you want to go enjoy te day activites from land, but I wouldn't be staying out overnight camping outdoors.

Just my opinion! :)
