360 Run Regular XBox games?

As title, does the 360 run old XBox games, such as the original Top Spin Game, MLB 2K6 etc?

I'm thinking of buying a 360, but will only do so if they run those two games
 
It will run most original XBOX games, but I don't think it will be able to run those two games you listed.

There is an MLB2k6 for 360, so the xbox version wont work.

But besides that 360 is awesome, definately get one. There are good games out now, and tons more on the way!
 
Yeah, I saw that too where all games are suposed to be backwards compatible but it will probably be a very long time before then if it even happens. It's ok though because a lot of good games are coming out. They tend to make backwards compatible games if the game is made for 360 so you buy the 360 one, but who knows.
 
Doh!

My best friend has the regular XBox :/, I'd love to be able to play against him, thats why I was asking...I'll probably just stick with the regular Xbox then; it's the only game I play.
 
I didn't think the original topspin had live...

BTW you should pickup a 360 for Top Spin 2. its a ton of fun IMO. Can't compare it to topspin 1 because I haven't played it in a long time but I can tell you that Topspin 2 has been owning me for the past week, not to mention that its only 40 bucks
