360 flashing help plzzz *10 points*?

Alright, so I plug in everything, get everything set up, and the computer wont find my 360 benq drive. I installed portio, nothing.

My brother did it before, but I don't know how to. He didn't use any software either. I think he formatted the drive in dos too, but I'm not sure. Oh, and how do you do that too?

Any suggestions.

Also, I don't want to pay for a chipset thing. I'm plugging the drive straight into my mboard, and using the 360 for power.

I know it works, because my brother has done it.
 
ask your bro for help... or you can look at videos on youtube

BTW if you flash you xbox your messin up your waranty so if your xbox gets the red ring you wont be covered
