32gb flash drive help?

I wanted to clear some space on my pc so i got a big number flash drive , but only a few files like 1gbs worth actually work whilst on the flash drive, i did a quick format before i used so can any 1 help?
i don't mean files over a certain size i mean after a certain number of files are put on it the others won't work it says the player can't recognize them
 
Sorry Im not understanding the question here...

If you mean you cant add files over a certain file size - then format it as NTFS...

Fat32 does not handle very large files.
