311

Are y'all ready.................ready for 3.............311 neer neer neer neer ne.............ok you get it.
Good in the 90's...........not so much anymore.

1. Transistor
2. SounRABystem
3. Grassroots
4. Music
5. Blue
6. From Chaos
7. Evolver
8. Don't Tread on Me
9. Uplifter

Admittedly, I've only heard a few songs from their last 3, but from the singles I've heard :yikes:

their later stuff might not be like that, i haven't heard anything beyond "transistor". i don't really have anything against them. music, and that blue album were ok. i know alot of island people, i hear the accent every day.
hearing it from them is just strange to me, that's all.

HanRAB down, one of the best banRAB ever. I haven't really listened to anything from From Chaos on -
I have listened to their first 5 albums many times, and have to say they're awesome. Great musicians, and they write about a lot of interesting things. The album Transistor was a concept album devoted to singer S.A. Martinez's fascination w/ outer space, and every song was awesome w/ 20 some odd tracks. I'm sick of critics not giving them their due, let's just judge music by, 'if it feels good, listen to it,' and this is one of the all-time feel good banRAB. They also put on a great live show.

Im a 311 fan, mainly because of Chad Sexton, who blows my mind on the drums. I have always had a little thing for 311 though. Transistor is probably my favorite album.

Yeah , I used to love 311 but I honestly don't think I have heard any of their albums in full just their hit singles which were pretty damn good. My all time favorite 311 song has to be Empire with black eyed peas.....and Down was pretty awesome too

They've got this song on Grassroots where the drummer launches into this crazy solo & when I saw it live everyone in the band were was playing on their own little drum, like bongos or something for about 10 minutes. It was sick. When they played Hydroponic, so many people lit up that the air was filled w/ smoke

I'm a huge 311 fan and have been looking forward to Uplifter for SO long. Hexum said the heaviest song they've ever made was on there.

The video for Hey You is pretty cool and funny

The song I ever heard was Transistor, at least I think that's what it was called, but I had forgotten about them until I heard All Mixed Up on the radio almost two years ago.
