Very interesting fact that I shall make a note of for future use......

I guess that the DP receiver will provide the Power to the DPP44. I am curious as to how the Legacy receiver would switch channels as it normally uses 13v or 18 volts to achieve this.

Still if it works, I don't really care.....lol

The DPP44 is powered so I doubt it is a power requirment from the receiver.
From memory the older receivers need to be hooked up to certain ports on the switch so I think there is something in the switch which makes them work on the specific ports.

I forgot that it was powered, I don't see the DPP44 too often but come across it occasionally.
