3100 and/or SW44 issue?

Our 3100 receiver in the kitchen stopped working today... no signal at all, can't lock on any transponder, check switch gives x's across the board every time. This particular 3100 is connected to the Power Inserter.

I removed the cable that initially goes into the PI from the 3100 and plugged it directly into Port 4 on the SW44. Same thing.

The other 3100 and 6100 connected to the SW44 work fine however.

Any ideas?
 
I just connected a brand new 4100 to the same cable and it did the x's thing also until I reset the power and then it was fine. I reset this 3100 like 15 times at least. No change.
 
I think the port on your switch may be faulty - it happens. Can you try another port and hook up the 3100 that is giving you problems? If it comes on fine, it is either the port on the switch or the cable line.
