3100 and operator logo

Having searched and found people wanting to create a blank logo, I'm actually wanting to do the opposite and get rid of my blank one!

I had a different logo which I downloaded, but now want to change it back so it says Orange. However, when I send the Restore text to Orange, or use any website's options for restoring, it's sending me a blank screen, so no logo at all. I do need it to say the network, as I'm going to Canada soon and need to know what network and tariiff I'm connecting to.

Please, someone tell me how to get my phone to say Orange again! Reply through this or to me directly : [email protected] Many thanks indeed

Hmm,.. usually when u've downloaded the blank operator logo,... shouldn't u still have the original one as well?? Maybe u could try going to Settings - Display settings - and then u should see an operator logo option,... select that and choose ur original one....
 
I didn't download a blank logo - that's what came when I requested the original one back. Operator logo option in Display Settings only has On and Off options. Where do you choose the image from?
 
i know what u mean ! i got that blank OP in my 6610 !
and it disable the orange ....
i dunno if it the same OP logo
 
Don't want to switch the operator logo off - I want it on so that it will display the company when I take it abroad shortly (read my 1st post!).

To the person with the 6610, did you get yours back? Orange have sent me a replacement directly, but I reckon they've just created an image with the word Orange as it's in such tiny writing and when I bought the phone, it actually said UK Orange.

Surely this can't be impossible to sort out?
 
umm , look i'll try to explain my self ....
the icon that i got is the icon that my provider (orange) is givin' me when i 1st bought the phone ( the icon ofcourse is Orange)
now .... what i did , is download a Blank OP ( not really blank , but actually an icon that nothin' appear and u can see the background of the phone ) and save it ....
that's what u tryin' to do ?
