310 To Yuma

Hey has anybody seen this film yet? Its not out until Friday, but thought someone might have seen a preview.

Found some clips on a Christian Bale fansite - Christian Bale and Russell Crowe as Cowboys:

Should be good! I'm a big fan of Batman Begins and American Psycho, and Russell Crowe was good in Gladiator and LA Confidential...

Anyone have proper trailer?

Was very good. I liked it a lot.

I will say, however, that the ending was debatable on whether it was true to a true western. (if that makes sense).

Christian Bale is good in almost anything he does.

I saw this yesterday and it was the first Western I have ever seen. Some frienRAB took me, because they wanted to see it and to tell you the truth I was impressed.
I was mildly bored at the beginning with the formalities of a film of this genre, but when the story properly began I was propelled into it and I must admit it took me with surprise.
Acting is superb and funnily enough would tell people to see it. As it was an enjoyable ride!

Great, gritty western with superb (as usual) performances from the Crowe / Bale. Hard to go wrong with leading men of that calibre. Definitely one of the best films I've seen this year and makes me hanker for even more Westerns on the big screen. Gunshots etc whizz around the theater and you can feel the impact when someone gets hit.

Crowe's psycho sidekick was played by Ben Foster, who played Angel in X3. Totally didn't recognise him and had to look him up. I was watching The Notorious Bettie Page on DVD yesterday and funnily enough, the lovely Gretchen Mol was also in the movie as Alice Evans.

Go see it!

Enjoyable but didn't really break any new ground for the Western and wasn't as much of an action movie as the trailer suggested - it was pretty low key really particularly in terms of story. Bale and Crowe were great but Ben Foster's role was underwritten IMO though he made the most of it.
Perhaps 'Jesse James' will bring something fresher to the table.

Only if they protray Jesse James as the out and out villian that he obviously was rather than the American version of Robin Hood films tend to make him out to be

Seeing as pretty much anyone who has seen him on film agrees with you I can't agree that he is underrated. He is well rated and deservedly so. And I will watch him in anything.

I'm excited to see this.

I mean he's not as famous as he should be, by rights he should be as famous as Orlando Bloom, etc but he doesn't appear to be. He's not a household name...yet that is! ;)

Not really a western fan but i did really like this flm, liked the feel of it and the acting was excellent, would be intresting to see what big western fans think of it

It was good until the last 20 mins when we were given a completely retarded ending...

Are we supposed to believe that a nasty, murdering criminal is going to help someone get him onto a train to jail? Then kill all of his gang, who he has probably known for years who have fought to save him from this fate, just because he kinda likes the guy escorting him to the train??

I saw this a couple of nights ago, and was impressed - the usual high calibre performances from both leaRAB as well as the supporting cast, I am a fan of westerns and was a little afraid before I saw it, but definitely up there with Eastwood's Unforgiven
