31 US Special Forces troops killed in helicopter crash

It's the truth of it though, this is the reason why I believe the government is hesistant at stopping the wars. They know the US economy will fall on its face and they don't wan't to be responsible for it.

The President should only be able to give an overview to the military at the beginning: "Remove Al Qaida in Afghanistan", "Remove Saddam Hussein in Iraq". After that he should have no say, and the military commanders dominate the enemy.

Do you think they're gonna wanna attack us again anytime soon? I mean they really hate us being in their country, so much so I dunno if they would think it's worth it pulling another 911.

usually thats how they do it. Wait until they're trying to land, fire a volley of 5, gtfo. If the chopper isnt covered by Apache/fast air/UAV or they dont see them youre fucked. Obviously its difficult to plan, cause you dont know where they're gonna land, and, even in volleys it would be pretty hard to hit a moving chopper, though its happened.

Thats a funny attitude. When the germans were sorrounded in stalingrad most agree a break out was the only option. Yet at the same time It tied up the so many russians in a single area that it was thought having the troops hold out served well protecting other.areas in the easterm front.

This makes me feel sick inside. There's no way we can ever "win" in that country, so either stop being nice and turn any area/city insurgents are found into a crater until the locals turn against them, or GTFO. Our best men and women don't need to die like this.

There was a helicopter shot down in a fucking warzone.
Simplest explanation is

A. Pilot was high and crashed into a mountain.
B. Government cover-up that OBL isn't really dead even though Al Qaeda is already trying to retaliate over his death.
C. Enemy pointed an RPG at the helicopter, shot it down and the occupants died.
D. We are laying the ground work for Master Chief John 117
