Most likely whatever web page you are trying to view is INCORRECTLY using this code to try to force a browser redirection. Most likely your browser on your phone does not handle the error code this way. Does it give you a link to the new address to use? you might try to access the page from a computer's browser and get the updated address (URI).

the phone is a nokia 6265i. The 302 error page has links to msn. How do I correct it?

follow the link. the page is trying to redirect you. just follow the link. it figures that microsoft would misuse a standard as long as it works with their stuff.
