I was surprised after hearing so many good things about it... I thought visually it was stunning, agreed. The acting was decent. Butler was charismatic and commanding... But the story left a lot to be desired. I expected a bit more.

The story and violence is not my cup of tea but Gerry is too good to pass up.
And you're right there isn't an ounce of fat.

I thought it was really good! I loved the killing parts where it would be slow motion and then right when they kill really fast.
 
FINALLY, saw this today. :eek:

What an incredible visual experience. Seriously. Plus, everything else! :lol: I knew everyone was raving about it, but seriously, wow.

:lol: I'll admit, I thought the same thing. I like that it was tastefully done, though. It wasn't trashy, or pornographic. And I thought it was a tender moment when he touched her face in the last clip of that scene. It was very well done.
