they might make it through for the 12.30am showing.

post watershed where all the horribly certificate 18 expletives can be aired without fear of someone ringing up complaining about 'the moon coming over the mountain'!

Proves nothing except there were 7 million people happy to slump in front of a pretty lame comedy rathr than go and do something (or watch something) more worthwhile.

And I realise it was lame by the age of 8.

Many years on I have seen nothing to change my mind.

may prove nothing to you, but from how i see it.... i doubt it was an audience of 7 million disabled who couldnt move out the chair they were slumped in. people have sense and wouldnt have watched it if it was that turgid.

personally i love the films, but youre entitled to your opinion and i appreciate hearing it none the less.

Look's like he's now a sad old git now ? :o

You know I first saw this back in 1985 it was on one afternoon and the Topless shot was in it then, unfortunatly so was Olives a**e

Would it not be a funny world if we all liked the same things? Perhaps i would find some of the comedy you enjoy(if any) a bit lame,i do not know as i cannot judge as you do not say.;)

Personally i like the bawdy british humour in on the buses, carry ons and the like.

And by the way statistics do mean something just like in the game of cricket,it means 7 million people enjoyed the show enough to watch it,and when i saw the last film at the cinema "holiday on the buses",it was full, those people were not slumped in front of a tv they had to travel!.

My last comment would be people must still enjoy it as they keep re-issuing the series on dvd,so therefore they must be selling, to keep being re-issued. So i would conclude weather you like it or not there is still interest in "on the buses" 30 odd years on.
