Three people were reportedly killed during an attack at a community college in Wyoming.
Casper Police Chief Chris Walsh told the Star Tribune two people were found dead at the school's Wold Physical Science Center and another was found at another location in Casper.
Walsh said no suspects were at large and no additional injuries were reported.
Earlier, Casper College spokesman Rich Fujita said the incident, according to unconfirmed initial reports, involved a faculty member and a student. The attack involved a crossbow or another similar weapon, Fujita said.
The school’s campus was locked down after the 9 a.m. incident and an advisory on its website warned students to stay away from campus until further notice.
No additional information was immediately available, Fujita said.
Casper College in Casper — four hours north of Denver — was the state’s first junior college when established in 1945 and currently has roughly 5,000 enrolled students, according to its website.
