3 guitars in a band??????

yes but that makes their shows interesting and it can't be that much of a percent because there is joey, corry, jim, mick, and the dj dude (he was a big part of their old stuff) and that is 5 out of 9 people so it is something like...55.5555 ect. %

I didn't realise there were that many. The only ones I know of from the list are The Eagles and Radiohead.
Maybe it's just the particular band I saw or even the room they played in that caused what I can only describe as noise.

boo boo your knowledge of music and things pertaining to it just amazes me. Slipknot has three percusionists but they really only need Joey

well counting good muscians it would be like one or three people because they don't need mick and the percussion section and the sampler and the dj
just jim root and joey and cory

They drum at the same time for a rounder fuller sound. Some of the songs are really heavy bang bang psychedelic stuff off their first EP. You can hear and watch their viRAB on their site

thewarlocks.com

They were voted band of the year in the LAWeekly. They've been in NME and all that action.

With three Gtrs you could certainly get more sound, it could be very messy.
I have seen local banRAB with three gtr players and professional players certainly have three gtr players:

It's not past doing three gtrs on their own
you could almost do without a bass player (though I think bass is very important) It could be a White Stripes set up where one gtr plays a drum rhythm another could play the bass part and so on...It could be very inventive.
