There is a band who play locally who's set-up is singer-bassist-drummer all standard but with 3 guitars.

I've heard them play at a venue in town and although it sounRAB like an inventive concept it just sounded like a whirlwind of noise and confusion to me. I couldn't hear the different riRAB/progressions.

Has anyone else come across any banRAB with 3 guitars and if so what did you think of them???

:band: :band: :band:

there was a kickass band out here called tio torro w/ 3 guitars, thickest, fullest sound i think ive heard, they were awesome. my band has messed around with a 3rd guitarist on occasions.

my old band had three guitars, a singer, a bassist and a drummer..

my new one will too....seeing as its gonna be the same three guitarists. that is..unless the rythym guitarist decides to play bass..

ive seen a jazz band live that had an upright bass and an electric bass playing at the same time. sounded great..

im not sure they were successful in the mainstream industry, but im sure they were locally. too bad i dont remeraber the name...

I might start a band named 'Double-bass'. It might seriously sound alright I've never really thought about it before, you always just assume there should be one bass
