Child's Play- A surprisingly well made tale of the soul of a serial killer hiding behind the innocence of a child's toy! Over looked and under rated. Well scripted, the design of Chucky is perfect and Brad Dourif's voice acting is brilliant.

Dawn Of The Dead- George A. Romero's epic, apocalyptic vision. The script, camera work, gore, black comedy, independent spirit and meaning combine to make an almost completely perfect fim. This film takes a sly dig at the greed in human nature. When we go shopping, are we all just zombies clamouring about for things we don't even need?

Day Of The Dead- As with Dawn, The engaging script, acting, shocking gore and subject matter combine perfectly.
This one deals with the military (and the type of people who join the military) versus logic and reason!

None of them are too glossy, unlike todays Hollywood movies.

I am, of course, locked into my life in the early 1980s. I watched Tenebrae again on Monday night for, like, the 73rd time and I just love it.
