3 biology questions dealing with worms?

1)Why is it rare that an individual parasite will kill its host?
2)You have taken a job as a product inspector in a large meat-packing company. As your first assignment, you must inspect pork for the presence of trichina worms. What should you look for?
3)A person infected with a tapeworm will display symptoms such as weight loss, weakness, and a low blood count. How can a doctor be certain that a patient has a tapeworm and not some other illness with similar symptoms?

My biology book doesn't cover it so I was just curious?
