2G 3.1.3 Dark Blue Screen After Jailbreak W Redsn0w 0.9.4

what are i doing wrong? caint finger it out- restore to 3.1.3 always 100% success-but then after JB w redsn0w=dark blue-nothing. wtfo? here is another question= spirit is tool to jailbreak right? why wont it work for phone that is not activated i.e. "not jailbroken" if it "jailbreak" tool?-of course this seems to mean you can only use spirit with an AT&T iphone plan activated sim? -thanks
 
i have tried this many many times many may reboots (including today) nothing- but dark blue screen.
 
really was hoping that would do it-restored to 3.1.2 with 100% success, then jb w 0.9.4= same dark blue screen. is there any other way to do jailbreak a 2g? -thanks
 
Why can't you just post solution.
I also have a 3g restore 3.1.3 ok but after jailbreak with redn0w always dark sreen. and spirit gives error.

Help if possible.
