28 Weeks Later

I was a big fan of both. I hadn't seen the first one so I watched them both in the same day and was terribly pleased. I'm partial to zombie movies though.
 
depends really...

the first one was a good film, a nice all rounder, has character development, and a little pinch of gore and action sequences. While it's a typical, almost 'zombie' genre film, it still manages to tie in a decent storyline where the underlying theme seems to say internal human conflict surpasses even a greater force out there.

the second one was more of a night of the dead/dawn of the dead sort of film, little character development, just jumping straight into mass violence and gore, which they did pretty gd imo. Chopper scene was pretty gd lol.
 
I liked both movies, but the second one, after about the first 30-45 min or so, became the first one all over again pretty mcuh. Since I liked the first one, it was cool, but anyone expecting something brand new might be a little bored.
