28 Weeks Later

Im a huge fan of 28 days later and all danny boyle's films. But why make a sequel to 28 days later.

28 Days Later has a scene about how the americans are sitting at home watching the simpsons while eating their dinner not caring about what is happening in england. Even the plane at the end is said to have be sweeping the area a number of times.

It seems there is no point making a sequel especally as danny boyle isnt directing and it seems its about the americans.

Not really just the world of films but the real world too, the US seem to stick their nose in on most things these days, its not surprising that they would do this sort of thing as in the film, cant see the French being bothered!

People seem to be missing the point. Garland is 'doing a Romero' it seems and attacking the US occupation of Iraq. It's not the best plot in the world though I admit.

People forget that America 'stick their nose' in situations because they basically own a share in EVERYTHING in the world. If ANYONE attacks ANYONE it screws up American business deals and financial interests. It's particularly relevant in the middle east due to the Jewish involvement and, of course, the oil fielRAB.

I wonder if this film will portray the American Army as being a loyal, loving, friendly bunch - The first one portray most of the British army as being tw*ts but American films can't say America is bad, can they? I hope I'm wrong, though.

They can't use Germans etc... because it'll be cheesy with Germans speaking the clich

Which is why it will probably do better in the US than Dog Soldiers and Shaun of the Dead and 28 Days Later did. All because it is involving their own country and not someone else's. The bunch of self centered bams.

I cant wait to see this film when it is released next year. Although I have not seen the original in ages but I think they will be showing it on Film4 at some point!
