28 Weeks Later...trailer

I enjoyed most of the first movie. It never reached its full potential though. The last half hour it seemed like the director didn't know what to do anymore. And I didn't like the fact that the last renmants of the British army was nothing more than a rape gang.

The characters in it were fairly stupid as well. Remember when the guy lit the candle in the house at night even though the infected were everywhere? I had to laugh at that part. But then again, I guess you can't have a horror movie without stupid people getting themselves into stupid yet avoidable situations. :D

The sequel looks pretty good. I hope there's a bigger body count in it. :)

Just rewatched 28 days later today and forgot how much i loved it, the story of survival and the horror elements made it one (if not the best) horror film in years.

im definatly looking forward to 28 weeks later because its the same animal but mutated and fundamentally different.

the uk is a large island and repopulation would happen once the virus was contained irradicated. but somehow it returns, could be good if they take it a different way, not end of the world survival type like days but a run from the virus/army trying to stop the virus again.

looking forward to the 28 days later: the aftermath comic that bridges the gap too (waiting for play to get stock)

They just showed a clip I hadn't seen before of it on 'The Culture Show'.

Don't read if you don't want to know anything.....
It shows a scene from near the start where the character Robert Carlisle plays is in a house with his family under attack by some of the infected...he jumps out of a window and runs away leaving his wife and daughter behind

That should clear up some of the previous doubts voiced earlier that this sequel might just play to formulas tailored for the American market.

There was also a review by Mark Kemode who rated this film very highly.
