28 Days/Weeks Later

It's a bit too early for the serious thinking cap... I'd like to see the cast of high school musical in a Nightmare on Elm Street film.

I saw Day of the Dead again the other day and forgotten how much I liked Romero's zombie world.

Any movie made within that dystopia I would pay to watch. Though I guess that has already happened as each movie sequel is set in another place/time and portrays somebody else's experience in that world.

For me it was my first viewing of Day of the Dead, and I was struck by how similar 28 Days Later was to it. Especially the uneasy role of the military in both, and the captive zombies for experimenting.

Although its quite well made, I don't think 28 Days Later or its sequel have anything new to say about the genre.
