according to scholastic (source: http://www2.scholastic.com/browse/article.jsp?id=3750501) 250k kids grades 1-12 voted. the results of this mock election have been wrong exactly twice since the 1940 election... and here are this election's results:

57% obama
39% mccain
4% various write-ins, including miley cyrus and stephen colbert
