It's probably the power to East L.A.
the population there is 97% Hispanic....no wonder Arizona is so willing to cut off the power.

Well, if you're going to boycott a state, don't be a fucking chickenshit. Do it all or shut the fuck up.
Right?

Course since a city government boycotting another government (state or local) is blatantly unconstitutional, maybe AZ should just sue the city council for any lost revenues an illegal and unconstitutional embargo causes.

I bet the city treasurer would just looooove to pay that bill.

Besides the fact this was already mentioned, wouldnt LA, if they weren't hypocrites, want to remove their portion of ownership in an Arizona based company if they were serious about the boycott?

The council and the mayor are just throwing a tantrum that won't lead to anything of any significance, and probably put more strain on our economy (in CA) than their intention.

Nevermind the fact their own constituency doesn't believe in the boycott...

Yes. Arizona needs to feel the consequences of enacting a bad law. 3% (1,302 votes)

Yes, though the boycott should be more of a symbolic gesture than an official measure. 1% (227 votes)

No, but only because doing so is probably illegal and not in L.A.'s interest. 5% (1,859 votes)

No. The city should mind its own business. 91% (35,848 votes)

But he uses a teleprompter amirite?

What if Obama sags his pants and listens to gangster rap while delegating behind closed doors.

If they want to spend the money and time to relocate, elect officials that support their agenda, and overturn the current law, then more power to them.

Why so long? It's not like LA hasn't had multiple riots at the drop of a hat in the past.
