21" Wheel with stock fender??? Streetglide

Im getting a 21" PM wheel with a avon or metzeler tire that is a 120/70-21. Ive researched this forum and get it will work, it wont work, it will work......and so on. It either will or it wont!!! Is there anyone running this combo with the stock SG fender. if so are there any mods that need to be done to the stock SG fender???

It will work just make sure to check the clearance. Should be about the thicknes of a 1/4" nut, if not drill out the rear fender mounting holes lift up on the botttom and tighten it up

Yes it will fit. If you need a little more clearance then you can drill the back fender holes slightly larger and tilt the fender forward.

Pics look good. What brand and size tire you running?? What wheel is that??

What size model and brand everyone else running??? Do you like how it corners and rides??

Thanks,

Steve

It will work. Its like everyone says, you have to drill the back holes bigger. It allows the fender to tilt forward some. I used a dremel grinding stone and it worked great. Didnt damage the paint at all.

Heres the tool I used:
