2012

oh god !! I found myself giggling plenty of times . it's just all the worst cliches stuffed together . and every 10 mnutes someone makes a tearful farewell phone call .

And Thandi Newton! - how does she get any work ? she's as limp as a wet dishcloth .

the FX are outstanding tho .

Didnt mind so much the emotion as that was in Independance Day in abundance but feel the lead John Cussack was weak they should have had a top hollywood actor as lead would have made it better ! Thought Danny Glover as the president was good!

Watched at the Cinema in Shrewsbury Last Night. 40 Minutes of adverts the film was utter $hite.....

John Cussack usually good actor? by the end our audience was talking, using twitter and facebook on their phones etc.

Quite frankly i could not care less what happened to the cast? Im sure if the producers were allowed they could have had more CGi shots of families and children being blown to bits, more long lingering shots of sheer suffering....

This why public now see something serious and trivialise it like fights, Crashes, People injured, The lad who jumped off the MultiStorey carpark in Derbybecause the crowd shouted "Jump you Bastard" and the poor lad did and died......

I wish i'd not bothered 2/10

to echo what has been said on this thread already, this film has amazing special effects! and is a 'cinema' film!!

i didn't know it was on for as long as it was and was amazed when i looked at my phone for the time at the end....time flies when you're having fun!!:D

go see!

This is one of the worst films ever, I saw it 2 days ago and apart from the brilliant visuals it is the most cliche ridden, bad cheese rubbish I have ever watched. They have taken every cliche and done it worse than ever before.

I actually wanted to punch the writer/director for some of the characters and situations that were in the film

This was the biggest load of old toot I have had to endure in a while. The film was far too long and the other audience members lost concentration. There was much glancing at phones and watches.
Several people laughed out loud in places, particularly the Giraffes over Tibet scene.
Dialogue was rubbish, the characters were formulaic caricatures and the script loaded with cliches.
This is two and a half hours of your life you can never get back

It's really not that bad. So what there were no hollywood a-listers in the cast that doesn't mean they were bad actors. the beginning was a little slow but once it got going i was riveting by the CGi and tension that was there throughout. Obviously "end of the world" disaster movies are not everyones thing but that does not neccessarily make it a bad film.

As someone who went and enjoyed the film it's clearly not going to rank as a classic but it's good for what it is a piece of escapist, spactular popcorn fun.

By the time the film ended, I felt like my world had ended! It wasn't that bad, I enjoyed the affects, and was very pleased the dog did not get squished!

Anyone want to start getting to China now for the Arks? Don't want to be left lol when "that time" comes lol!!! :p
