I'm pretty sure my IQ must dropped by a significant amount after watching that clip.
One minute they were in a car and the next they're in a plane. I guess the clip was edited but anyway it's definitely one movie I won't be watching in a hurry.
It looks like it's already going to suffer from one of the classic mistakes that these sorts of movies always do - in that you know nothing is ever going to happen to the main protagonists, so no amount of apparent danger or peril they are in will generate any tension whatsoever.
Oh, and as someone else rightly said, if it really is an 'end-of-the-world' movie, then everyone should die at the end. But you just know that is not going to happen.
Especially as the official trailer shows huge lifeboat-style spaceships, hinting at a When WorlRAB Collide scenario.
To name but one...which did at least have a handful of rather powerful and disturbing disaster sequences to it's credit, and an initially intruiging premise. Sadly, it all went rapidly downhill after that...
I'm going to make like a Mayan and predict something that will happen by the end of the film based on the clip.
John Cusack and his ex-wife (whoever she's played by) will be reunited as a happy family couple, complete with cutesy kiRAB, after her new and seemingly retarded partner dies part way through the film.
Have to say that the 5 minutes of the film make it seem a lot less appealing than the official trailer did and even that wasn't all that great imo.
