2011 Street Glide with "Power Pack" eval

So, you ran it wide open w/20 miles on it?
Not saying anything good or bad, just wondering.

You think the 103 is worth it (obviously)
For sure the touring motors need it. The (stock)88" Ultra I rode
was lathargic(spl/chk) Had to drop into 4th to (hold) speed on a
hill into a head wind. Not accelerate, just hold 70 mph.

I want to ride a 110" (just to see)

Whats the word on those?
 
Power Pak = 103 engine, ABS, and Security.

As a side note... The 2010 Glides came with 18" front rims. It isn't something new with 2011's.
 
Security system and anti-lock brakes. I'm eyeballing the Road Glide and Electra Glide Ultra myself. One of my magazines says they're also coming out with a CVO Road King so I may wait to see what that looks like.
 
Well, I spent all of about 6 seconds lookin' at the new RG and told the dealer to put my name it it... it's sold. I've only managed to put 70 miles on it so far, and I and tell you that for a big bike it handles really well. But that 103 engine will fry your right leg. I don't think it's so much the engine itself (by the way, it does come stock with an oil cooler), but that damn exhaust is H-O-T. I was at the dealer and he showed me the inside of the new header pipe, and I have to wonder how anything flows through it. Sorry HD, but that cat was a really dumb idea, and is number 1 on my list as soon as Jamie get's the new engine prducts ready as a package.
 
In reference to the seat....took it off at the dealer and they installed it on the 2009 trade in. I had the road glide seat from the 2009 trade put onto the 2011. Wasn't interested in the slightest on trying the seat. Although the dealer did emphasize that the seat was changed and supposed to be better.
 
Anybody realize the advice is coming from a guy/gal who seems to swap bikes yearly. How can you tell you even like the bike if your trying to trade up every 1-2 years.

Not sure where you learned your break-in method, but that might explain why you change bikes so often
