now right now im looking into getting a truck. my parents said that they want a new reliable one, so theyll buy it and ill use it (ill probably put money down and help with some payments, doesnt matter lol) Im deciding between an f150 or a tacoma, and im leaning toward the tacoma (but i REALLY want the trd off-road package lol). i dont need a v8 so id go with a 3.7 v6 on the ford because the 3.5 ecoboost is too expensive (itd match the price of the tacoma if i got a regular cab, which for some reason must have an 8ft bed. if i want a 6 ft bed its like an extra 5grand for the xlt). the 3.7 v6 XL f150 is approximately $28000 and the tacoma with off-road and access cab is $31000. any ideas/inputs?
