I am looking for some advice. I have purchased a 2010 Street Glide with the new 2 into 1 stock exhaust system. I have installed the Harley Race Tuner, Stage 1 air intake and have tried 2 different slip on mufflers. The first was a Screamin Eagle, which is now sitting in storage with 150 miles on it and ready for a new owner and the second is a Thunderheader Slipon Muffler. I actual really like the low rumble tone of the Thunderheader and the performance on the 2010 with the race tuner and air intake upgrade is very good. I have two problems; I still think my Harley sounds like a honda at idle and low throttle speeds and the right side runs screamin hot. The stock head pipes do still have the catelytic converter still in place. I have talked to many people and keep getting different opinions on what I should do, but I don't want to spend $1000 and then just be so so happy with it the results. I want a strong Harley rumble, with a good lower end tone like the Thunderheader gives, still have the same or better performance and help reduce the amount of heat on the right side. Any ideas???
