2010 Road Glide handle bar wobble?

I get a slight bar wobble when deceleration with no hands on the bars. It's especially noticable while decelerating through 40MPH. I do not notice it at steady speed though or when a hand is on the bar. Most people I've talked to have this same problem and seem to think it's normal. Mine has done it since I bought the bike. The wheels are Roland Sands Judge wheels so this could be the only contributor if it is not normal.

Is yours doing this all the time (i.e. acceleration, steady speeds and deceleration???) You need to give more info.
 
If you wnat to confirm you suspensions that its normal just take it to your stealer.
OH wait I can seve you a trip. "THEY ALL DO THAT".
My 08 RKC pulls to the right going down the road, no it is not the crownof the road.
And the warranty has expired, I am sure they can help me NOW! Tenn. Vol.
 
After the 09's came out they found that they needed a new method to tighten the steering heads. There's a bulletin for it and it was supposed to be put in the service manuals they hadn't sold yet. Mine had the wobble too. You can check it yourself. Put it up level on a jack and pull the grip all the way to the left, hold it there, then let go and count how many times it swings back and forth. The batwings and sharknose each have their own number of swings. I don't remember but i think the RG is 1.5 or 2.5 swings back and forth. Mine was about 5 swings.
 
My 09 RG had the same problem. Once dealer said they tightened the steering head and had fixed it "no charge". Ummmm, it was still there. Had some work done at another dealer asked them to look into it including to see if I had a bad wheel. Picked it up, and they said they had tightened the steering head - no more wobble!
 
I just checked my Factory '09 Touring Model Service Manual. And the "Head Bearing Swing-by" section says "Turn the front wheel until contact is made with the left fork stop and then let go. The wheel should swing side to side, finally stopping in either the 3rd or 4th swing." If not, adjustments are warranted and described.

I'll need to check mine out. Starting to sound like this isn't rare and quality control off the assembly line leaves a lot to be desired (again)!
 
My 08 did that also, steering head bearing adjustment cured it. Just felt a little weird telling someone my bike wobbles when I am riding without hands on the bars.
 
My 2009 RG does the same thing under deceleration. I have around 6000 miles on it and I also just had the front tire replaced under the warranty. It was doing it before the tire swap. Would something like this be covered under warranty?
 
Huh.. My 08 Road King will wobble at around 35 mph if my hands aren't on the bars.. I can't tell if it's getting worse as time goes on, or if I just notice it more.. I live in Northern Michigan, so it's going to be a while before I can check it out again.. I just figured it was one of those normal things.. Also pulls to the left when you let go..
 
That might be for the batwings, they have more swings because of more weight on the forks. Or you have the older manual. The bulletin came out june 10 2009 and it's M-1246. For fltr it's 1 swing min and 2 swings max. 3 min 4 max for batwings. More than 4 is too loose for all touring models.
