Yesterday, Nokia announced at the Nokia Capital Markets Day 2009, that they have new and big plans for 2010. Nokia believes firmly that they will be competitive when it comes to both the cell and smartphone market and plans on improving its value share.
Nokia says it plans on launching its first Maemo 6 "mobile computer" around the second part of 2010 and has also mentioned that their Symbian user interface will show to reach more flexibility and take it to a new level.
Another change Nokia plans on is increasing the proportion of QWERTY smartphones and touch with their handsets. Other plans include creating Ovi content through third party developers by providing enhanced tools for the creation and for those emerging markets, to provide affordable and localized services.
