So I have my permit, but I will soon get my license and these are the cars my parents and I have been looking at seriously. My dad likes the civic, for the value, it seems to be the cheapest with alloys and a sunroof. However my mom likes the VW, she is on her 2nd Audi, and she says it "saved her life" when she got into a wreck 2 years back, so her point is safety. I like the Mazda, the way it drives, the styling, the hatchback, and maybe because the front looks like a smiley face, hehehe!
FYI, the reason I'm not getting a used car is for longterm reasons. I am planning on becoming lawyer, which will take me like 8 years post secondary. This means the car has to last 10 years, which is a strech with build quality and electronics these days. My parents want to buy me one car, not a few used ones. Also, is there any HUGE difference in insurance for the 3 cars?

BTW, if you are going to shoot down all of my choices come up with better ones, yes this is deliberately aimed at you "TOYOTA SUCKS". Oh, and btw, i dont want a Colbalt. It will want to kill myself, at least the safety ratings are sh*tty enough so i know i will die.
