2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid vs 2009 Jetta TDI?

So what do you guys think?

I need a car that will handle 50 miles a day on the Highway speeds at (~75 mph). Also something in pretty much safe in all weather conditions such as rainy, windy, snow, sleet...etc...

Both the fusion and the jetta have the same mpg but its the RWD on the jetta that worries me about all weather conditions at highway speeds.

So what do you guys think? Fusion hybrid or Jetta TDI?

Or screw just get a AWD sedan for periodic highway travels.
